Job Title: Parts Specialist (Management Track)

About the Role

We are a premier agricultural dealership in Kearney, NE, dedicated to keeping our farmers and
operators in the field. We specialize in top-tier machinery including Massey Ferguson, JCB,
and Krone.

We are currently seeking a driven, mechanically inclined Parts Specialist to join our team. This
is not just a counter position; we are looking for a future leader. We want a candidate with the
work ethic to master the department and the ambition to eventually move into a Parts Manager role.

Key Responsibilities

● Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and phone customers,
identifying their parts needs for tractors, hay equipment, and material handling equipment.
● Service Department Liaison: Work closely with our service technicians to identify and
supply the correct parts for shop repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
● Inventory Management: Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing inventory.
Maintain an accurate stock of fast-moving parts for Massey Ferguson, JCB, and Krone
equipment.
● Problem Solving: Use electronic parts catalogs and schematics to decipher complex
breakdowns and find solutions for older or obscure machinery.
● Showroom Standards: Keep the parts counter and showroom clean, organized, and
professionally merchandised.

What We Are Looking For

● Mechanical Knowledge: You don’t need to be a master mechanic, but you must
understand how Ag equipment works. You should know the difference between a hydraulic
pump and a PTO shaft, and understand the urgency of harvest season.
● Ambition & Drive: We are looking for someone who takes ownership, who is self-
motivated, who looks for work when things are slow, and wants to advance their career.
● Future Leadership Potential: You will need to possess the organizational skills and
maturity to eventually lead the team, manage budgets, and oversee department operations.
● Computer Literacy: Comfortable navigating dealer management systems, online parts
manuals, and standard office software.
● Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical details clearly to customers and build
relationships with local farmers.

Preferred Qualifications

● Previous experience in an Ag or Heavy Equipment dealership.
● Specific familiarity with Massey Ferguson, JCB, or Krone product lines.
● Background in farming or agricultural operations.
